Managing Social Learning

This panel discussion will examine different perspectives that the influences of social media technologies have on law enforcement, business, education, and on our culture.  We’ll explore what some of the challenges are and with continued advancement in new technologies, how we will manage these challenges?  What are the effects of globalization and from a law enforcement perspective, what are some possible new threats?
 
Speakers will discuss technologies that have shaped communication and social learning in our culture. The panel will examine the positive and negatives of social learning, the effects of globalization, and the effects on the criminal justice system.
