Natomas Chamber Lunch & Learn: Virtual Twin Engineering at Natomas High School
Wednesday April 7 2021
12pm - 1pm
Zoom Meeting ID: 814 7520 2994
Passcode: Natomas
About this Event:
Introducing the Natomas High School Engineering program in our time of great change. A moment where it is beneficial for the Natomas community to
evaluate the equilibrium of mind & machines, products & platforms, and central know-how to that of crowd wisdom. At Natomas High School, the
engineering program considers all three but has an affinity for mind & machines.
About the Speaker:
In business, Jerry JACKSON was fortunate to belong to a cohort of individuals who, with Autodesk’s acquisition of Revit Technologies in 2002, expanded product revenue from six to nine digits by establishing BIM as a category, customers as evangelist, and Revit as the standard. In 2011, Jerry joined Dassault Systemes where he served as Vice President of their global Architecture, Engineering, and Construction software business. In education, Jerry opened Rocklin High School's Technology Center a few years after the school was constructed where he was awarded Teacher of the Year. Today, this school year, Jerry joined the inimitable staff at Natomas High School to teach engineering after a twenty year hiatus from education. Jerry holds both a BA and MBA from Sacramento State University.
