DESCRIPTION:Natomas Racquet has formed a team for the 2012 Relay For Life event at Natomas High School April 21st beginning at 9am! Relay For Life is a family-oriented event\, where participants can walk or run on a track relay-style for 24 hours. Participant's camp around the track\, and when they are not taking their turn they take part in other fun activities. Former and current cancer patients\, their families\, and the public are invited to take part in this exciting team relay event. It is a group of people Fighting Back against cancer\, as we hope to raise money so one day we can find a cure!\n\n\n\nWith two million volunteers nationwide\, the American Cancer Society fights the disease on all fronts: research\, education\, advocacy\, and service. I'm committed to being a part of this amazing work as\, like most\, I have personal experience with this horrible disease.\n\nThere are two ways to participate:\n\n1) Join our team! All fees have been paid so joining is free. There is no fundraising obligation. Just show up and join in the fun. Of course we hope you raise some money for the cause but this is not a requirement. All team participants will Receive a Natomas Racquet Club Team shirt. Many local business and residents will be participating as well.
